Maître. Joelle Sorel

Became a partner of the firm in 2009, and was an associate of the firm since 2003. A French attorney specializing in taxation and estate matters, she holds a PhD in French Private Law from the University of Paris X Nanterre, and has been working in the field of international taxation since 2000. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at the International Department of Fidal (KPMG), and later in the Expatriation Services branch of Landwell (PriceWaterhouseCoopers). She is currently completing a diploma in International Private Wealth Management from the University of Clermont-Ferrand.

Beth Paul Saunier, Esq.

Joined the firm in early 2010 after working for over five years as a tax advisor with the Internal Revenue Service at the United States Embassy in Paris. An American-qualified attorney admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, she earned a Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Political Science from Lebanon Valley College. Beth began her legal career as an associate attorney in the corporate and finance departments of Reed Smith LLP and currently teaches several classes as an adjunct professor at ESSEC business school.

Mr. Jordan Mintzer

Has been with the firm since early 2003. Prior to that, he worked for three years at PF Financial Associates, a New York-based investment firm specializing in real estate partnerships and the hotel and food services industry. While preparing both corporate and individual tax returns at PF, as well as monthly accounts for a variety of businesses, he worked as an accountant for several private clients in the industries of fashion, film and television. Jordan graduated from Baruch College (CUNY) in 2001 with a BBA in Finance & Economics, with minors in Political Science and Accounting. He has been living in Paris since 2002, where he also works as a film critic, notably for Variety.

Maître Stephanie Simonard

is a dual national of the United States and Fra nce and is bilingual. Born and raised in Washington D.C., she moved to Paris in 1972 to join the local office of KPMG Peat Marwick, where she served clients for twenty years in matters concerning U.S., French and international taxation. Partner in that firm from 1986 through 1992, Mrs. Simonard established her own practice in 1993, the year she was admitted to the Paris bar. She and her professional staff are available to respond to both routine and complex international tax questions and will work directly with the client or as a member of a team of advisors, as desired.
