Maître. Joelle Sorel

Became a partner of the firm in 2009, and was an associate of the firm since 2003. A French attorney specializing in taxation and estate matters, she holds a PhD in French Private Law from the University of Paris X Nanterre, and has been working in the field of international taxation since 2000. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at the International Department of Fidal (KPMG), and later in the Expatriation Services branch of Landwell (PriceWaterhouseCoopers). She has completed a diploma in International Private Wealth Management from the University of Clermont-Ferrand.

Mrs. Susan Petty

Has been with the firm since 2010. A Certified Public Accountant form the state of Florida, she graduated in 2007 from the University of Florida's Fischer School of Accounting with a Master's of Acconting Tax emphasis, and a minor in Asian studies. She has worked for three years in tax accounting in Florida specializing in high-net worth individuals tax preparation and planning including the business, estate, private charitable foundation, and gift consequences to her clients. Upon her move to Paris she passed the Enrolled Agent exam and is currently taking addtional courses at the Sorbonne.

Mr. Martin Alexander

Has been with the firm since 2007. As Office manager oversees administrative operations, manages the office budget and manages vendor and clients relationships. He is also involved in the recruitment process. Holds a Masters in international relations with emphasis on International Macroeconomics. Years of experience in a variety of consulting, and small enterprise positions accross the globe.

Maître Stephanie Simonard

is a dual national of the United States and Fra nce and is bilingual. Born and raised in Washington D.C., she moved to Paris in 1972 to join the local office of KPMG Peat Marwick, where she served clients for twenty years in matters concerning U.S., French and international taxation. Partner in that firm from 1986 through 1992, Mrs. Simonard established her own practice in 1993, the year she was admitted to the Paris bar. She and her professional staff are available to respond to both routine and complex international tax questions and will work directly with the client or as a member of a team of advisors, as desired.
